Nintendo Gamecube Controller Restoration

In this video I refurbish a black Nintendo Gamecube controller from 2002. I start by fully disassembling the controller and giving the dirty shell a good bath in hot soapy water. I soldered on a new joystick as the old one was floppy, then cleaned up the circuitboard and remaining components with isopropyl alcohol. I also made sure to give the button membranes a good clean with IPA to ensure reliable button presses.
