Knitting tutorial for starting with the Turkish cast-on. This tutorial includes wraps and one round equivalent to one round, or row, and Kitchener stitching if closing a tube. This is an alternative to Judy's Magic cast-on, but may have a different number of equivalent starting rows. These are frequently used for casting on closed tubes like socks, pockets and pouches as well as starting other projects like a double knit or Brioche.
