Dhanashree Thillana| Reflecting Life | Athira Vijayan ft. Anchal Padmanabhan

For a very long time, I've had my eyes on the blue saree I'm wearing in this video. It's my mother's wedding saree, the first one my father gave her on wedding day.
And honestly never found any saree remotely close to its beauty. My mother only wore it once after the wedding at another wedding and almost 20 years later it's
seeing the daylight again through me. During the midway I noticed the saree torn at end by the chilanka but it was adjustible. Later coming home my mother showed
it's almost coming apart everywhere so I suppose this was the last time it'll be worn. I was quite adament about making this video beachside along the blues. The vastly
stretched sea and the sky was very fascinating to me. I think its a little safe to say these visuals came out pretty close to my imaginations with limited resources. Anchal
here is a distant relative of mine, but our bond is almost like close cousins. It was wonderful to reconnect with her through this dance. We spent a whole day in
the beach to finish the shoot. It was fun and painful in so many ways. The vague idea of putting this form of dance, the outfit and the beach was all in my head
from a very very long time. I'm so glad it's finally here. Hope you all like it.
