Snow returns to find that the refugees as well as his fellow comrades from NORA are safe, and proceeds to continue his search for Sera. Vanille and Hope eventually catch up to Snow before seeing him take off in a speedy transport. Hasty and confused about his feelings about his mother's death, and with some forceful convincing from Vanille, the young pair chase after Snow by hijacking a transport vehicle.
