Chennai MTC New Electric AC Bus | Travel Review

This video was about newly introduced Chennai MTC AC Electric Bus travel review which was inaugurated on August 26th, 2019 in Chennai.

This AC Electric bus was build by Ashok Leyland under the name of Circuit S model. Having seating capacity of 32 with 25 standees configuration.New facilities such as Fire detection and suppression system,GPS available in this bus.

This bus operation based on using battery swapping technology. So no engine sound.Two AC vents provided at each seat. Seat was comfortable and leg room was very spacious.

Floor mats provided in gangway also under the seats give a nice look for the bus.Emergency hammer and stop button provided.As of now this bus was operating as trail run for around 3 months so there was not any fixed timetable for this bus.

It was operating A1 bus route From Thiruvanmiyur to Chennai Central railway station around 4 trips in a day. Ticket cost is Rs 29 from Thiruvanmiyur to Chennai Central.

Overall a nice initiative from Tamilnadu gov for introducing electric bus.
