The Killzone series was first released in 2004, and it quickly became a hit thanks to its impressive graphics, immersive gameplay, and compelling storyline. The games are set in a futuristic world where the ISA (Interplanetary Strategic Alliance) is fighting a war against the Helghast, a brutal and militaristic faction. The conflict between these two factions provides a backdrop for some truly epic battles, and the games are full of memorable moments.

In addition to its great graphics and story, Killzone also features some excellent gameplay. The games are fast-paced and action-packed, but they also require players to use strategy and tactics to succeed. The AI enemies are challenging, and the weapons are varied and powerful. So, why has there been no new Killzone game in over a decade? Well, the short answer is that Guerrilla Games, the developer of the series, has been busy with other projects. In 2017, they released Horizon Zero Dawn, which was a critical and commercial success. They've since released two more Horizon games, and they're currently working on a third.

But that doesn't mean that there's no hope for a new Killzone game. There have been rumors that a new Killzone game is in development, and it's possible that we'll see something announced in the near future. In the meantime, we can always replay the original games or wait for a remastered collection.
