The sequel to my very first Let's Play walkthrough series! This is episode 1 of my playthrough of lets play XCOM 2 War of the Chosen played on legend difficulty. Join me on the Road to Ironman / Legend for XCOM 2 War of the Chosen as we forge our own stories for the soldiers unfortunate enough to be under So Whack’s command. This XCOM 2 War of the Chosen playthrough includes some cosmetic mods, both story DLC's (Shen's Last Gift and Alien Hunters) integrated and lots and lots of screw ups... maybe. It is XCOM 2 after all.

XCOM® 2: War of the Chosen, is the expansion to the 2016 award-winning strategy game of the year.

XCOM 2 War of the Chosen adds extensive new content in the fight against ADVENT when additional resistance factions form in order to eliminate the alien threat on Earth. In response, a new enemy, known as the “Chosen,” emerges with one goal: recapture the Commander. This expansion includes new Hero classes to counter the “Chosen”, new enemies, missions, environments and increased depth in strategic gameplay.

Three additional factions have emerged to strengthen Earth's resistance – the Reapers, Skirmishers and Templars – each with its own unique abilities and contrasting philosophies. These factions provide powerful hero class soldiers to aid in missions and new opportunities for the strategy layer.

Both the XCOM 2 DLC Alien Hunters and the Shen's Last Gift are installed and active in this modded XCOM 2 Ironman campaign! Also included are the three alien rulers: Viper King, Berserker Queen and the Archon King, as well as the DLC weapons (Shadowkeeper, Bolt Caster, Frost Bomb and Hunters Axes).

Operation Gatecrasher is one of the story missions in XCOM 2, playable only if you have the Alien Hunters DLC installed in XCOM 2’s campaign which I am playing on Commander difficulty with Ironman enabled. It's a Let's Play series where I look after the soldiers and sometimes roleplay with them to make the story more dramatic. I encourage any role play logs or diaries for my XCOM 2 campaign! I even tend to write an entry or two now and then. I feel it spices up the XCOM 2 gameplay experience, and it also engages you guys with my playthrough and the characters we have from the character pool function Firaxis included with XCOM 2.

XCOM 2 and the various DLCs (Alien Hunters and Shen's Last Gift) are available now for the PS4, Xbox One and PC! I highly recommend that you get yourself a copy of XCOM 2 if you have not done so already so you can begin your own XCOM 2 playthroughs.

XCOM 2 War of the Chosen also introduces new enemy and friendly units. Friendly units are the Reapers, the Skirmishers, and the Templars. Enemy units include the Chosen (the Assassin, the Warlock, and the Hunter), as well as the ADVENT Purifier, Priest and the Spectre. It also introduces new environments, weapons, and an overhaul of the strategic layer!

XCOM 2 is property of Firaxis Games and published by 2K Games, and was designed by Jake Solomon along with his team of tear-drinkers for maximum sadism and entertainment. That's XCOM baby!
