Hazelnut Compost Cookies:
"Compost cookies are exactly what they sound like: cookies with a little bit of everything in them. Also called kitchen sink cookies, they’re a great vessel for leftover candy, crunchy snacks, salty bites, nuts—really whatever you have available in your pantry—and often include staples like chocolate, pretzels, and chips. Although I did stick to some classics in this recipe, I developed it with a cocktail party in mind. And any good cocktail party needs alcohol, snacks (something salty, crunchy, cheesy, and sweet), and a little coffee for a pick-me-up." - Nea Arentzen
