Standard units are commonly used units of measurement, which help us to measure the length, height, weight, temperature, mass and other properties of an object. These units are standardized, which means that everyone gets the same understanding of the size, weight and other properties of objects being measured.

Trivia!!!Did you know in the old days, people in different locations developed their own units, which they used to measure the things around them? They use their hands, fingers or arms in measuring things or as measuring tool.
