The Burden of lockdown vs. The Colour Therapy Collection:

Montreal-based artist Callen Schaub knows how tough winter is emotionally, especially with social restrictions and lockdowns in effect across the country. Callen has used this time to reflect on his mental wellness and has set out to help others in the best way he could, through his work.
From his own experiences and his previous exploration of red-light and chromotherapy, Callen learned just how vital colours could be in a person’s life and the Colour Therapy was born. These sessions will be a way to explore the significance of different colour combinations and start a conversation on alternative ways of improving our mental health.
The painting sessions will use distinctive colours and explore a whole new spectrum. After each session, Callen, through his comments section will talk about the pallet of colours used and will advocate about de-stigmatization of mental health. Callen believes that "just because you cannot see it doesn’t mean it is not there" and through the rollout of the colour therapy collection, he hopes to address the issue of mental health.
