Over the summer I stayed in Yalalag, a small village in Oaxaca, Mexico. We had no internet connection unless we bought "fichas" which is a temporary password to access the internet. A huge thanks to my best friend's family for opening their home to me!

NOTE: For those who would like to visit Yalalag, there are no motels nor hotels so it would have to be a one day trip. Make sure you and your taxi driver agree what time you would like to get picked up to go back to the city.
