I attempted to ride a train across Tunisia, from Tunis to El Jem to Sfax, using their Carte Bleu first class rail pass.

$25 for an entire week, less than $4/day... wow. Unbelievably cheap!

Going without speaking Arabic or French, this was a big adventure even from the moment of trying to buy train tickets in Tunis... but an adventure that I absolutely loved!
