New research revealed Brits have lost £7.2 million to pet scams, one woman who knows this all too well is Kate Margolis. Kate was counting down the days until she could bring her new golden retriever puppy home. She found a breeder on a professional-looking site and was shown photos crucially paid a deposit. She prepared for life with her new pup when she received an email saying the puppy had died - then silence from the breeder. It dawned on her that she was the victim of a scam. Kate will be alongside Dr Scott with the signs to watch for and what to do if you think you’ve been conned.
