Spring Lake | Santa Rosa CA | Trail and beyond

Spring Lake in Santa Rosa CA is actually a reservoir built in the 1960’s as flood control for the city. More on that in the video.
In this video you’ll get to experience the paths as if you’re there. You’ll get to experience every screeching peregrine falcon, every horse hoof clop, every footstep, and every “howdy-do” to and by the passerby’s.
I started the walk while it was in the 30’s so you’ll see frost on the ground.
At one point, I show an info board and a QR code for a moment. If you click on that with your smartphone or click on the link below, it will take you to a nice little video made by the city to explain the history of the lake. I also provide a link below for the other videos they provide via QR codes on the other signs that I didn’t record.
