Understanding the SBA Low-Interest Loan Program
February 24, 2021

When a county is approved to receive disaster assistance by the Small Business Administration, low-interest loans become available for a variety of scenarios. The loans are available to businesses, residents and non-profits in the affected area. The funds may be used to repair damages, finance homeowners’ mitigation projects, replace personal property, and provide assistance in other instances.

For damages incurred as a result of Tropical Storm Eta, the filing deadline to return applications for physical property damage is March 29, 2021. The deadline to return economic injury applications Oct. 28, 2021.

In this one-hour webinar, Roberto Baltodano, Public Affairs Specialist from the SBA Office of Disaster Assistance, explains available programs and services, the benefits of an SBA Disaster Loan and the three-step application process.

Pinellas County floodplain, flood insurance and Emergency Management experts join the panel to share valuable insights.
