What's going on everybody Adam here with etrailer. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Kinedyne ratchet straps. With these ratchet straps, we are going to get a flat hook right here. It's going to be made of steel, and it's going to have a nice powder coated finish. So it's going to resist against rust and corrosion. And so is the rest of the whole entire mechanism here.

As you guys can see, it has a nice coating on it. So it is going to be extremely rough and tough. Even if you guys end up leaving it outside overnight or something like that. We ended up leaving this tractor outside, tied down, and they're totally fine. But over the seasons, they're going to be fine as well.

We are going to get a two inch strap by 27 foot long. So it's going to be plenty to be able to tie down some shorter stuff like this, but we do have a lot of excess in our situation. So that's why I really do recommend to grab the strap pack just because it looks good and you really don't have to worry about taping it up or zip tying it up because that stuff costs money. This thing stays there. So every single time you use it you're going to get your values worth. So I definitely suggest getting a strap pack, but all in all, it's a ratchet strap.

It does a pretty good job of doing what it needs to do. I didn't have any issues with it. It does have a working load limit of 3,300 pounds and that's per strap. And we're going to have a break strength of about 10,000 pounds. So having two up here in front and one in the back is going to be plenty to strap down our 4,200 ish pound monster right here.

I'm going to go ahead and start tying down my tractor. The way I'm going to do it is actually just go ahead and go around the axle and come back down and hook it on to the trailer. One thing I am using today is a actual strap cover. This is going to protect my strap from any damage, but also protect my axle from any unnecessary damage. And if you guys do go with these ratchet straps, all you got to do is get a cover that is going to come apart like this, in my opinion. Just because it's flat hooks are relatively big and you can't really slide anything over them, but just get one that opens like that. And that is a two inch wide cover because these are two inch wide straps. So I want to put that on first. These just kind of hook and loop on. Bulldog Winch makes these, but there's a lot of them that we have here, a bunch of stuff in our warehouse. So it's figuring out which ones are best for you, but always got to protect your gear. So put that up over that in place. And I want to come to this side and what I like to do with these stake pockets is just go in there, wrap it back around, kind of like that. Nice and tight and it's just going to get a lot less stress on our strap. So now take all this excess. It's a lot, 27 foot, all right. And also one thing to note, you guys see how tangled up mine are. Try not to do that. We want to keep it as straight as possible. So one, it looks good and again, no unnecessary pressure putting on those straps. So now same thing as before I'm going to do the same thing here. What I usually do is I try to get a 45 degree angle from wherever I'm tying it down on my trailer to whatever I'm tying down to. It's just kind of the strongest way to do it, in my opinion. Once we get that, pull it tight, get her all strapped down. It's not a massive lever, but definitely it's big enough to get a lot of tension on it. And to secure all this leftover strap. So this isn't something that comes with the kit, but they do have it available on our website. I really like it.You can convert pretty much any Kinedyne ratchet strap to have a strap pack on it. And I just liked that just because I don't have to figure out what to do with the rest of it. And you'd be surprised how much damage one of these can do whenever it's flailing around. You'd be surprised. It can honestly take off paint in some instances. All in all, these are pretty much just a basic ratchet strap, nothing really special that sets it apart. If you guys are looking for a strap that is going to set it apart from all the others, the quick loader straps are awesome. Like I love them. They really don't have the need to grab a strap pack because it all just condenses down. It makes it a little bit easier too, just because it is spring loaded, but these do the job, get the job done and nothing really special to it. So if this is something that you guys think you guys need, we do have it here at etrailer. Again, th
