Review of circumstantial evidence and the ice axe found on Mount Everest in 1933. The axe was originally thought to be George Mallory's and then thought to be Andrew "Sandy" Irvine's. A review of the marks and Irvine's other ice axe shows it is equally likely to be Mallory's or Irvine's.
