"Two days after my college graduation, I was attacked by a shark white snorkeling. I lost my foot and part of my leg in the attack and began the journey of recovering and learning life as an amputee," Truwit said. "Through that first year, I had the goal of making the Paralympics and ended up a year later at the Paris Paralympics and I'm really excited that the documentary is capturing that journey and spreading you know that message of hope and overcoming to other people."
