A heart-wrenching accident occurred in Nalgonda district near the Pedda Kaparthi village of Chityala Mandal. A newly built hotel made with a temporary shed structure suffered a tragic mishap when a water tank installed on its roof collapsed, instantly killing a mother and her son. According to locals, the family was preparing to inaugurate the hotel the following morning and had stayed overnight at the location. Unfortunately, the roof could not withstand the weight of the water tank, causing it to crash down on the sleeping family below. The deceased have been identified as Nagamani and her son Vamsi Krishna. Two others were injured and were immediately rushed to Kamineni Hospital in Narketpally for treatment. Initial reports suggest that the tank was installed without proper structural support or safety precautions. Police have arrived at the scene and started an investigation.
