In this glassblowing demo video I create a borosilicate glass vortex marble from start to finish. Video of the finished marble:    • Vortex Marble Handmade by Bill Grout 2.16"...  

Looking straight down a ribbon cane of half gold and half silver fuming fills the core while supported by a field of spiraling multicolor fumed lines. In the background blue green speckles coved the dark cobalt base. The back side is decorated with raked lines of dark green, purple amber and sparkling blue floating over the reflective silver fumed base.

Colors used in this build: Blue Green frit, Dark Cobalt, Dark Green, Double Amber Purple, and IO Star.
