STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® returns with the 2025 British Women’s Championship, showcasing nine incredible athletes on stage at the Royal Three Counties Show in Malvern.

With strength, speed, and grit, these women took on the ultimate extreme sport test — and delivered a record-breaking show.

The British Women’s Championship consists of 4 disciplines:
🔶 Stock Saw
🔶 Standing Block Chop
🔶 Single Buck
🔶 Underhand Chop

Rachel Ferrington stunned the crowd with a breathtaking performance, setting a new world record in the Stock Saw — what a way to open the competition!

The entertainment didn’t stop there, athletes unleashed raw power, slicing through wood with unrelenting precision. As the leaderboard tightened, tension soared going into the final discipline.

After delivering the fastest times in two out of three disciplines, Rachel Ferrington still held the lead but there was only a handful of points between 1st and 4th place. Could she hold on to the top spot?? Or could Georgia Lewis or Catherine Eccles steal the lead?

In a monumental final effort, Rachel Ferrington managed to achieve a PB in Underhand Chop and claimed the crown as 2025 British Women’s Champion.

“Seeing that I got a world record... I think my jaw dropped and it hasn’t come back up yet.”

Confidence, fire, and a flawless finish. This was one for the history books.
