Gold continues to hold steady at around US$1,900 per ounce, and projections for the future remain bright. INN spoke this week with Brien Lundin of Gold Newsletter, who said that one of his key takeaways from the recent New Orleans Investment Conference was that for the first time in quite awhile there's broad agreement that the forecast looks bullish for gold. 

Resource experts often prefer a contrarian approach to investing, and Brien said it does make him somewhat nervous to see everyone agree. However, at this point he believes the fact that there's a consensus shouldn't be too concerning — instead it indicates that the thesis for gold is strong.
