Dr. Madhulika Guhathakurta is the leader of NASA's Living with a Star initiative, where she explores the physical interplay between the Earth and Sol. Under her leadership, the agency is pushing the boundaries of old theoretical paradigms through both conventional and machine learning techniques. To her surprise, this approach has unearthed unexpected results in the domain of solar weather and geoseismic activity. PODCAST INFO: Anastasia completed her PhD studying microbial communication at Columbia University.
