On Thursday, April 16th, 2020 Put People First! PA took urgent action in the streets on foot and in car caravans. In four simultaneous actions in Philadelphia, Altoona, Lancaster and Philadelphia, PPF-PA members called out "Reopen the Hospitals" "Inaction = death!" putting greater pressure on local and statewide demands. This video shows the action in Philadelphia - outside of Mayor Kenney's Old City residence, where member's called on Mayor Kenney to ask Governor Wolf to #SeizeHahnemann!

Put People First! PA is calling on Governor Wolf to keep PA residents safe and healthy during the pandemic by taking the following actions:
*Seize and re-open closed hospitals
*Place all hospitals under public control for the duration of the crisis *Directing immediate production of testing kits for all residents of PA *Directing immediate production of Personal Protective Equipment for all healthcare workers and other frontline workers
*Immediately applying for a federal waiver to expand Medicaid to every resident of PA
