I went to use my Practecol KAW-001 Energy Monitor power meter, that I have used for years to monitor KW/Hr usage of different items around the house here, and it was dead. To repair it I first had to custom make a long security bit to reach the deep security screw heads so that I could take it apart. The battery that was in the unit was measuring 1.6V but should have measured about 3.6V, I replaced that and wallah it it works great once again. Saved me from having to buy another power meter, and putting this one into the trash, yeah :-) !!!
