The Minister of Health, Dr. Jane Ruth Aceng, has called on laboratory scientists in Uganda to take a strong stand on the issues of typhoid and brucellosis, as misdiagnoses continue to affect the population. Dr. Aceng made these remarks during the closing ceremony of the East, Central, and Southern Africa (ECSA), Global Fund, and ASLM Regional Training for Biomedical Engineers and Laboratory Scientists in Equipment Maintenance and EQA Panel Production.
