Sanath Nishantha, better known as Sanath Nishantha Perera, was a politician from Sri Lanka who held positions as a minister and a member of the country's parliament.
He was 48 years old when he died on January 25, 2024, having been born on May 3, 1975. Nishantha was elected to the parliament from the Puttalam District in 2015 and 2020.
he belonged to the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna. Due to his multiple assault arrests, he was also entangled in legal matters. Nishantha's political career mirrored the difficulties faced by Sri Lanka's political culture
