Rachel Tom Antony’s (Communication Design, Batch 2021–2025) project, Kannimanga, is a hand-drawn animated film that explores the emotional intricacies of intergenerational bonds through the lens of a granddaughter returning to her ancestral home in Kerala.

Blending journal-style narration with restrained color palettes, layered textures, and ambient sound design, the film evokes the quiet tension and tenderness that define familial relationships. Every frame becomes a vessel for memory, reflecting a deep sensitivity to place, time, and emotional nuance. This beautiful film is mentored by Associate Professor, Communication Design - Shaaz Ahmed
