Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Lippert 1621 5th wheel pin box. Has a 15,500 pound gross towing weight capacity. Now, this pin box will serve as a direct replacement for a worn or damaged Lippert 1621 pin box that's on your 5th wheel trailer. The king pin right up front here, this is where it'll connect to any 5th wheel trailer hitch.

That is a nice, durable steel construction. You can see the whole piece is a nice, black powder coat finish to it to resist rust and corrosion. And it is a bolt-on installation. It does attach to your trailer frame with the existing hardware. It'll bolt into place along the two rows of bolt holes.

Now, one thing I do wanna mention is you do wanna make note of the bolt hole locations of your factory installed pin box cause you wanna mount this pin box in those same hole settings using that factory hardware. Now, because of the weight of this unit, it's about 99 pounds, you'll probably want a friend to help you lift it into place during installation. This part is made in the USA.
