How to use containers at home to help your child's early communication skills. We can create opportunities to engage with other people and experience successful communication.
Be careful of withholding or taking away things that give your child joy or are their basic needs. They should not be punished by taking away the things they love! Be sensitive with how often, when and where you use communication containers. All children and young people need times in the day where they can relax and find joy with their favourite things – it's important that we allow for this.
