Mercedes-Benz E-Class - Removing the display module | W213

Remove the display module from the new E-Class

use a plastic wedge to carefully remove the cover on the dash panel

the three fastening screws for the display module are located underneath

after you've unscrew the screws the display module still secured in the guards use a suitable tool to release it from the guards

carefully pulling module out to the front disconnect all of the connectors

when setting down the display module ensure that you place it on a soft surface in order to prevent any damage

now disconnect the instrument cluster from the display module

unscrew all of the fastening screws from the bracket

now the instrument cluster is only clipped in place use a plastic wedge to carefully release it from the retaining clips

the removal is now complete

the installation is in the reverse order.
