Raspberry pi Bluetooth car audio unit - complete!

Описание к видео Raspberry pi Bluetooth car audio unit - complete!

My first ever electronics project!

I've been working on building a Bluetooth car audio unit you can connect to in order to play music from your phone. I built it with my raspberry pi, an amp, a modified car charger, and lots of cabling, including a conversion kit for my car's stereo socket.

I soldered my amp's DC power supply cable and the car charger terminals to the conversion cable, stripped off and labelled all the audio wires and plugged them into the amp. I connected the micro-usb end of the charger to my pi, and then connected the sound-card to the amp. I also have a bluetooth stick connected in the other USB port of the pi.

On my raspberry pi I installed arch linux with pulseaudio, and built a series of shell scripts which enable and setup both bluetooth agent and pulseaudio sinks, which allow for remote devices to connect to the pi. I configured the agent to accept and pair with any device, and to accept any pass code.

Update:
Here's a picture of the Pi embedded inside my car, with a rocker switch (stolen from the amp) built into the fascia: http://i.imgur.com/40N62F4.jpg
