Gospel Warm up with modulations. Great for any choir with instrumental background!
This is originally an SSATBB with keyboard and instrumental accompaniment for Saint Jude the Apostle Catholic Church.

Starred (*) parts are optional.

The Beginning section is to go over with your choir in the first few weeks of learning everyone's individual part. An instrumental part is doubled with each vocal part which can be played for the choir to learn their part easily. After the first few weeks of practicing, this can easily be done using only the last 12 measures. Have certain members of the choir use percussion instruments such as a tambourine to play on beats 2 & 3 to help emphasize the down and off beats. The drumset and piano parts automatically keep this pulse as well. The last two measures of this warmup is a drum improv. solo. Although the tempo is marked as 132 bpm, feel free to take liberties with the tempo and go a little faster every time.
