How to Pronounce Moët & Chandon? And WHY?!

Analyzing how to say Moet & Chandon correctly, in French and in English and more importantly, why you should say one way and not the other.

Because the founder of the famous Reims-based Moet Chandon Champagne house, Claude Moet, was of Dutch origin/decent, and not French he said his name a way that is not absolutely grammatically correct if you follow the pronunciation rule by the book in French or in France.
