Copernicus revolution in terms of Immanuel Kants Philosophy

Copernicus revolution involved the philosophy of Immanuel Kant in where with the comparison of the laws of how planets are orbiting the Sun, Kant uses that comparison in regards with the human mind and with the way we perceive objects. Kant explains that empirical (factual/scientific) Knowledge is something that is we ourselves must make observations and must make that knowledge valid through tests (I.E. how Copernicus determined how the Sun was in the Center of our solar system). As more space, time, and proper categorization are used, we can construct what an object is and what purpose it has as the object itself does not know what it is and its purpose is to the world, but what we assign that purpose to said object that gives it its validation. In more simple terms, it is what we call a symbol.

Here we see that Uraraka assigned value to box, in which the symbol of the box is her repressed emotions of romance regarding Midoriya. Its value and purpose were invalidated until the conflict between the two came through and both Uraraka’s and Midoriya’s and feelings were laid bare. After both parties acknowledge their respective fellings, the symbolism of the insides of the Box is made apparent.
