Polygamist Cult 'Prophet' Caught with Underage Girls Gets Locked Up

Polygamist cult “prophet” Sam Bateman was sentenced to 50 years in prison, followed by lifetime supervised release. Bateman pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit transportation of a minor for criminal sexual activity and conspiracy to commit kidnapping. The 48-year-old targeted families with minor daughters and used them as “child brides” to sexually abuse them. Law&Crime’s Sierra Gillespie breaks down the disturbing case.
