The Versius® Surgical Robotic System is CE marked according to EC Directive 93/42/EEC (the MDD) and is intended to assist in the accurate control of its surgical endoscopic instruments during urologic surgical procedures, general laparoscopic surgical procedures and gynaecologic laparoscopic surgical procedures on adult human patients. The device is restricted to sale by or on the order of a physician. The device is not yet available for sale in the United States.
