We're Going to drive a NASCAR to... A NASCAR RACE!
This is the first video in a series that will end in a four day camping trip at the Brickyard 400! It's a big goal for us, and I'm really excited about this one.
In this video, I'm going to install a new brake master cylinder in the Tide Car, inspect the enormous Wilwood brakes themselves, install a simple boot over the shift lever, along with a new shift knob, and also wire up the neutral safety switch so no passer-by can start the car in gear by mistake.

I will be focusing solely on the Tide Car for the foreseeable future, at least until the end of this year. I have written up a month to month schedule in which to have all of the items completed before the trip.

I plan to drive down to, and camp, all four days at the Brickyard 400 NASCAR race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in August, with only what I can fit inside my 1994 NASCAR Winston Cup car. I will be spending the next few months getting the car ready for the trip so that it can be done safely on public roads and highways. In case you don't already know, the car is street legal, so I will not be towing it to the speedway, I will be driving it.
