Swarovski EL 10x50 vs. Zeiss & Leica

I put the Swarovski Swarovision EL 10x50 binoculars through their paces in Peru's Valle de Candamo rainforest in Bahuaja-Sonene National Park, Puno Department. A high-end set of binoculars represents a significant investment. Is it worth it? What do you get for the money?

The EL binoculars are specially designed to eliminate "field curvature," a distortion across the field of the view which becomes apparent when panning. I didn't cover this topic in the video, but when panning, some distortion is still evident, however it's not significant and certainly not distracting.
