The Symphony Sessions is the third studio album by famous Canadian music producer David Foster. His first solo album, The Best Of Me, was released in 1984, and his second studio album, David Foster, released on June 11, 1986, was his most successful album at the time, with hit songs "The Best Of Me", a duet with Olivia Newton John, "Love Theme From St. Elmo's Fire" from the 1985 film St. Elmo's Fire and "Who's Gonna Love You Tonight?", with Mr. Mister lead singer Richard Page on vocals.
