A really early look at the KD8, Remastered Jordan 7s, a really nice LeBron 7 ambassador, and Kanye still isn’t happy with Nike. I am your host Jacques Slade and this is Today in Sneaks.

Lets start with the KD 8 which is just an early look so don’t form too many opinions yet. It looks a lot like an Air Max runner, but again, this is just an early look. From the image of the outsole, I thinking it may be zoom all the way through, but again, that is all conjecture. Stay tuned and I will update you as soon as I hear something more concrete.

Jordan Brand is going hard with the Bug Bunny tie-ins and starting this weekend, you will be able to grab a remastered Air Jordan 7 known as the 7 Hare’s. As many of you already know, this is an original Air Jordan 7 colorway and features White/True Red-Light Silver. As will all the Jordan signature product that has released this year, this is a remastered Air Jordan 7 and should have a quality up to par with the original from the 92-93 season. Look for these on the 16th for $190.

I have actually never worn a Nike LeBron Ambassador model, but this LeBron Ambassador 7 may change that. Nike Basketball has these set for non-US accounts, but they really look nice. The Black upper with the hot lava accents and the pronounced flywire should make these a good alternative to the LeBron 12 plus they have the Air Max unit in the heel and Nike Zoom at the toe. The more I talk about these, the more I actually want to play in them. Again, these are for Non-US fans and you can grab these pair now over in Germany.

Kanye West was being Kanye West again this weekend and put in context with the adidas earnings call, it all makes sense. While speaking at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Kanye admitted that Nike offered him 4 Million, but he didn’t want to stay because he thought Nike wasn’t allowing him to be as creative and he thought he could be. To be honest, I respect his drive for creativity and if adidas is giving him those wings, good for him. I admire his need to take risks and shoutout to adidas for helping make that happen.

Now as for the QOTV: adidas announced today that adidas Originals has has double digit growth thanks to the ZX Flux, Tubular, Stan Smith and Superstars. For me, I know the Tubular has definitely been on my radar? Of those four, have you been checking for any of the lately? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.
