Assam-Mizoram border dispute: Tension continues over bridge construction

Fresh tension seems to be brewing between Assam and Mizoram as now, reports of another skirmish emerged from the border. This time it is about an alleged bridge construction by Mizoram in the Assam's boarding district of Hailakandi. Assam has asked the Mizoram government to stop the construction and maintain the status quo. On the other hand, Mizoram has filed a case against Assam police for theft of construction material. Both the state forces are now sitting in the bunkers as the situation remains tense at the border. The report also says that no violence has been recorded till now. Watch to know more.
