In this video we see Important historical places PILAK are Shyam Sundar Tila, Dev Barni, Thakurani Tila, Balir Pathar, Basudev Bari and Sagar Deva. The artist and style followed in sculpting and sculpture is in direct harmony with the sculptural and architectural styles of the Palash and Guptas of Bengal. The influence of Arakan, Myanmar (formerly Burma) and the local style are remarkable in the size and style of the statues and sculptures of Pilak. The number of pictures and terracotta plaques scattered in different parts of the area.

This site is overseen by the Archaeological Survey of India. The terracotta statues scattered from Paharpur and Mainamati are similar to the molded terracotta plaques. The Buddhist complex can be dated here between the 9th and 10th centuries. During excavations towards the end of the late century, the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) team found piles of bricks. The Archaeological Survey of India plans to do some excavation work to uncover the hidden cultural heritage of the area. It may be recalled that the vast plains of Tripura were controlled by various dynasties ruled in East Bengal and in ancient times were Samatata. Some of them were Buddhists and others were Hindus. Most of the rulers of this region were their capital. The Pattik kingdom of the Comilla region was ancient and Pilak was not far from Comilla.
