Let’s get started ⬇️

•Obtain your lotus seeds either online or a nursery. I got mine from my nearest nursery.

•Scarify the seeds( I forgot to film this process)

•Soak the seeds for germination which will happen within 4-5 days . Change water once in 2 days so that there isn’t any algae formation.

•To transfer into a pot wait for the true leaves to appear.

NOW LETS PREPARE THE SOIL MIX:-
• I have taken 50%clayey soil and 50%sand for the potting mix. ( got the clayey soil from a lily pond when I went fishing with my husband 😋)

•Now to plant the sapling make 2 inch holes with your finger and gently place the saplings and cover it.

•Place the pot in a bigger pot and fill the pot.

•Add some fishes since it prevents breeding of mosquito eggs plus adds beauty.

•Provide warmth and fertilise regularly.

•That’s it you are done.

Now let’s wait for your lotus plant to flower🪷
