Heroclix Tutorial: Penetrating/Psychic Blast

Penetrating/Psychic Blast is a common standard attack power that's very helpful against opposing characters that have damage reducing powers like Toughness, Invulnerability or Impervious, because penetrating damage cannot be reduced. In this video intended for new players, you will learn how to use this power, what makes for interesting combinations with it and how to play against characters that have this power.

Penetrating/Psychic Blast: Give this character a ranged combat action. Damage from the attack is penetrating damage.

Errata
Thanks to viewer Trevor Valenzuela, I realized my wording of the explanation why you cannot combine Pen-Psy with RCE or HS is lacking (around 1:08). This is what I should have said:

All these powers require a power action, but only Penetrating/Psychic Blast allows a ranged combat *action* as a free action; RCE and HS allow a ranged combat *attack* (or a close combat attack in the case of HS). Pen-Psy requires a ranged combat action to activate; it's the difference between attack and action that plays out here.
