Calheta is the beautiful village on the South West coast of Madeira, known to have some of the best temperatures and sun on the island. It has sandy manmade beaches that provide a protected bathing area for families and water sports. The marina area has a number of excellent restaurants that are open all year round. It is also home to Pingo Dolce Supermarket and two excellent Savoy Signature Hotels:
