We have to know about below three those who are willing to go Darjeeling Tour and explore
Plan –
Darjeeling tour should plan at least 2 months prior.
Not only Darjeeling tour, but all the long destinations we should plan 2 months prior or at least 1 month prior.
By planning two month prior you will get flight fare and hotel rooms fare could be budgetary.
At the same time if you want to cancel due to any urgency reasons, you will get full fare refund or at least 50%
Season –
You should avoid monsoon time that is mid June to end-September. It is off season because not good time for Kanchenjunga viewpoint. No possibility of Kanchenjunga view. But prices are very low. If you want to except Kanchenjunga view. But might face small drizzles all time during your tour. It will some inconvenience.
October to November and March to May are the great times for Kanchenjunga viewpoint. It is high season because most of holidays in during this season. Also, greatest times to see Kanchenjunga viewpoint. So, price would be double than usual - high fares - 90%
December to February moderate chances for Kanchenjunga view. After Christmas and New year, the prices will be down. This is season is very budgetary - 75%
During Christmas and New year, you can see some local carnivals.
In January On January 26 republic day you will see North – East cultural dances in chowrasta mall road.
Transportation –
By Train – We must reach NEW JALPAIGURI (NJP). From Vijayawada. Then, we must reach Siliguri about 8-9 kms (30mins) bit traffic. From Siliguri we have number of pre-paid taxies /shared cabs to Darjeeling city.
By Flight – we must reach Bagdogra (IBX), from HYD, Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai almost from all national airports. Then, we must reach Siliguri about 9-10 kms (20mins). We don’t have direct route to Darjeeling from IBX. From Siliguri we have number of pre-paid taxies /shared cabs to Darjeeling city.
