संभल में एक और रहस्यमय खोज हुई है. यहां मृत्यु कूप मिला है, जिसे 19 पौराणिक कूपों में से एक माना जा रहा है. आर्कियोलॉजिकल सर्वे ऑफ इंडिया (ASI) की टीम भद्रिका तीर्थ के अवशेषों की जांच के लिए पहुंची है. स्कंद पुराण में वर्णित इस कूप की खुदाई शुरू हो गई है. नगरपालिका की टीम मौके पर है. इसके अलावा, सम्राट पृथ्वीराज चौहान की पुरानी बावड़ी का भी निरीक्षण किया गया है, जिसमें खजाना छिपा होने की अफवाह है. संभल में लगातार हो रहे खुदाई और निरीक्षण से कई रहस्य सामने आ रहे हैं.
