Ralph Lauren and Cars - A 300-Million Dollar Art Collection

Ralph Lauren, the billionaire philanthropist, owns a huge car collection that is worth over $300 million. Some of his cars are so exotic that they are on display in a museum. In his own words, Ralph describes cars as arts and they are something to live with your life.

In an interview with CARJAM TV back in 2017, Ralph explained, “I love cars and I think cars are the art and clothes are fashion, and mixing them both is exciting and they are like my children… I’m not a collector but I love my cars, I wanted to drive them so I bought these cars. I wanted to drive all of them so I kept all of my cars and suddenly I have a collection…”

Ralph Lauren developed a hobby of collecting some of the most vintage and classic cars over the years but his $300 million dollar car collection is mostly filled with Ferrari models from different generations. He thinks of cars as art and his car collection is definitely a proper justification for his claim.
