30 Years Committed to an AIDS-free World | The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation (ETAF)

This year is the 30th anniversary of Elizabeth Taylor starting The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation (ETAF). Narrated by ETAF Ambassador Kate Burton, this video highlights Elizabeth‘s committed advocacy and activism throughout the HIV/AIDS Crisis and the inspiration for why we continue her work. When talking with people in the HIV and AIDS community, we often hear, "Elizabeth Taylor spoke out for us when no one else would," and "Elizabeth Taylor told Washington D.C. about us when everyone was ignoring us." These statements always remain in our hearts and minds as our founder's work endures.

Elizabeth Taylor's work from 30 years ago - and our work today - continues to advocate, support, and care for those who face some of the highest levels of stigma, marginalization, and discrimination. Furthermore, ETAF has remained flexible and agile, and able to adapt its work to support the changing needs and evolving communities in the HIV/AIDS landscape.
